New Patient Information
Helpful Info for You to Know
Are you and your child new to WindHaven Pediatric Dentistry? Welcome! We hope you feel right at home with us. To make the entire experience as productive and enjoyable as possible, there is some information you should know before their first appointment. Please take a little time to review the content below. It will tell you what you need to prepare in order to have a successful, smooth visit.
Your First Visit
When you first arrive, our receptionist will greet you warmly and offer to take you on a tour of our facility. When we’re ready to begin the appointment, we’ll call them back into our open, naturally lit treatment room, where you can see basically everything going on. Dr. Karrie will gently examine your child’s teeth and let you know if she finds anything amiss. When we’re finished, we’ll complete the final checkout while your child chooses a prize from our prize wall.
New Patient Forms
Before we can start your child’s visit, you need to fill out some necessary paperwork, which tells us their medical and dental history, insurance information, and more. This information is conveniently available online through our patient portal or you may arrive 10 minutes early for their appointment so that you have extra time to complete these forms in our dental office.
Pediatric Dental Emergencies
Has your child badly damaged one or more teeth? Are they complaining about a serious ache in the back of their mouth? Don’t hesitate to contact our dental office and schedule an emergency appointment ASAP. Our team makes every effort to accommodate these urgent situations right away; we can often even find room in the schedule on the same day as your initial call. Above all else, we will focus on providing fast relief from pain and caring for teeth (baby AND adult) that need some TLC.Learn About Pediatric Emergency Dentistry
